Sonnen, a major company in AI-based battery storage integration, is entering the Japanese market!

It was the front page story in this morning's newspaper.

For quite some time now, the German company Sonnen has been optimizing the use of storage batteries by connecting homes and businesses around the country with AI and linking those that are in use with those that are not. As a result, this company seems to have grown the most because it is now possible to use electricity with zero monthly fees after purchasing a storage battery and panel for an average of around 200 million yen.

If the solar panels and storage batteries at home are not enough, Sonnen will procure electricity from power generators, so users can use it for free without worrying about which electricity they are using. It's a truly wonderful system, and I was envious, but I thought it was great that it will be introduced in Japan as well, although the cost may change.

In Japan, if you use about 4kW, your electricity bill will be virtually free for the first 10 years. This was possible because they bought the electricity at a higher price for the first 10 years (it's not so high now), and it is similar but not the same as Sonnen's method mentioned above, and it was a system that ended after 10 years.

Tesla's storage batteries will likely be released soon, so it looks like 2020 could indeed be called the year of storage batteries.
