Yesterday I gave a short lecture together with Atsushi Murakami.
As always, Murakami's talk was full of impact and freshness, but what surprised me the most was Google's new project.

It appears to still be in its demo version, but it uses data from Google Maps to display the amount of electricity that can be generated from the roof, the amount you can save by purchasing or renting, and even the depreciation period. In the future, the aim seems to be to have solar power generation companies displayed below that, so that you can place an order by clicking on them.
I believe the energy-saving effects that would result from this becoming more widespread would be tremendous.
Once again, I was reminded of how amazing this company is.
