We recommend Saturday mornings for housing meetings.

For housing companies that handle a fair number of buildings, the pattern is often 3 meetings on Saturday and 3 on Sunday, for a total of 6 meetings. Even more impressive companies may even hold 4 meetings + 4 meetings = 8 meetings.

It's work, so I want to give my best to every meeting, but we're human after all, and the reality of the world is that many design staff feel like an empty shell by the final meeting on Sunday.

On the other hand, Saturday mornings are when people are full of energy. From the client's perspective, they may want to sleep in on the first morning off. However, if you want to improve the quality of your meeting even a little, we recommend meeting at this time.

In the case of Matsuo Design Office, we are closed on Sundays, and on Saturdays it is rare for each staff member to have three meetings.

The most striking example I have seen and heard about across the country was a tough guy who had 8 meetings, 8 on Saturday and 16 on Sunday. I told him directly, "It's amazing that you can do it without making any mistakes."
