My design was completely stolen by someone really close by (laughs).
Just the other day, I was driving near my office when something caught my eye.
The Tsugawa Dental Clinic, which I designed in 2008, is clearly designed
This is because a building that was obviously a copy appeared before my eyes.
(The following photos were taken with my smartphone after parking the car.)

I walk along this road almost every day, but I didn't notice there was scaffolding until just the other day.
By the way, we have also included a photo of Tsugawa Dental Clinic, which served as the model.

The shape and color are almost identical, so I think it would not be an exaggeration to say that it is a rip-off.
I'm not particularly angry about this incident. I'd rather be able to imitate it.
That means the client or the architect thought it was a good idea.
I felt a little happy.
However, the two buildings may be about 2km apart, but they are separated by just one turn at an intersection.
They are located in close proximity to each other. Tsugawa Dental Clinic is famous in the neighborhood because it has a large number of patients.
Even the average person would probably see that it was a rip-off. Moreover, the design of the one built later was better.
If there is, I think there is a position. (The result is as you can see.)
If I were the owner or designer, it would be one thing if the building was more than several hundred kilometers away, but it would be even more difficult to build it this close by.
I will never do something like this again. I have no idea whose intentions led to this.
What kind of thought process led you to come up with a design like this at such close range?
I became very interested.
I don't think there is such a thing as a completely "designed from scratch," not just in architecture.
Every design is influenced by someone, and there are often things that I reference.
Yes, it's true, I do this often.
I wonder what the building will be used for...! I'm very interested now.
