Today was another busy day. Work is busy, but we still have some aftermath from the expansion of our office.

From tomorrow onwards, we will be working on the remaining work by the craftsmen (lighting and entrance door), setting up the items that have not yet arrived, and coordinating the installation of the items.

I think it was about four years ago that I first introduced this house on my blog.
As I have written before, a completely new construction method has been developed by a Swiss venture company.
Dr. York from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, the highest educational institution in Europe, and Dr. Ando from the University of Tokyo's
With their cooperation, we were in charge of planning and detailed design.
I can't think of anywhere else in the world where so many groups and people have been involved in a project for a house of just 100m2.

As we progressed with this project, we were hit with a variety of problems one after another.
Rather than "ups and downs," it felt more appropriate to say "several ups and downs."
The Minergie standard is a Swiss energy conservation standard.
If a P is added, the envelope performance is equivalent to the German passive standard, which is a stricter standard.
The final "eco" certification places strict restrictions on the use of chemicals, etc.
So, the Minergy P Eco certification is probably the most important in the world right now.
This seems to be a strict standard.
However, this certification has not yet been granted!
In Europe, as in the case of the German Passive House certification,
It is possible to receive certification even after these certifications have been established.
The review is still ongoing at present.
It is very unfortunate, but the president of the venture company that developed this method
came to check the site just after it was completed, despite his illness.
He passed away shortly afterwards.
I am so grateful to have been able to complete this extremely difficult project in my lifetime.
