The feature on ultra-luxury homes in the first half is also a treat for the eyes.
The latter half of the article, "Verification of an eco-house in midsummer: Verification records revealed," by the former laboratory, is well worth a read.
The four levels of housing have Q values of 0.83, 1.32, 2.11 and 2.2, respectively.
Room temperature and air conditioning utility costs are measured in detail.
As always, the result is
"If the sun protection is done properly, it will be highly insulated.
It certainly is a cool and comfortable home."
This has been amply proven.
However, the only thing I regret is that the floor plan is different for all houses except for the 0.83 house.
I don't know how well the sun protection design is done.
It was hard to read.
The detailed results show that all houses except for 1.32 are insulated and cool.
It was perfectly proportional. Probably only the 1.32 house.
I suspect that the sun protection wasn't done very well.

"House in Shinanomachi, Niigata" is also featured.
I don't think there are many magazines that are this condensed.
