I think the common thread among famous architects is that they are paranoid.

Of course, after 15 years in the architecture world,
I was able to see a lot of different architects.
The number of registered first-class architects is around 35, and even just the working generation alone
There are thought to be 25 people. If we include those with second-class qualifications and those without qualifications, the number will reach 100 million.
I think it will exceed that.
Among them, the only person who is well known among the general public is Tadao Ando.
I don't think there are any. This is an extreme example, but among the same industry,
I know many more people.
Still, I don't know any architects who are more or less well-known nationwide.
I think maybe only about 200 people know about it.
Or, even if they are not famous nationwide, they may be people of the same generation in your neighborhood who you think "this person can do it"
If we include those who think this way, the number will be even higher.
These people are all very strong individuals.
I think there is one thing we can definitely say in common.
It depends on the person, but it's about being paranoid.
In other words, once you start getting particular about it, you can't stop...that's how it is.
I think the majority of them are car enthusiasts.
I think there are also a lot of other things like cameras.
To put it more casually, there are also people who like beautiful women...
However...
Today I gave some advice to the staff at the office.
These days, young people who want to become architects have this kind of obsessive attitude.
I think there are very few people who feel that this is a part of architecture.
I have no interest in cameras. I don't use flash because I'm not interested.
Taking a photo. The importance of wide-angle lenses is something that home designers don't know the first thing about.
There are a lot of people.
It may bring shame to our company, but we will continue to ignore what we do not know.
We can't just leave it there, so we have to teach them that as well.
I think it's difficult for people who don't have an abnormal obsession with something to succeed in this industry.
This is a rule of thumb I've learned over the 15 years I've spent in this industry.
