Peace of mind ① The most popular traditional wooden construction + more than 70 drawings

Even large companies can no longer guarantee their survival decades from now. This is even more so for small businesses like ours. As of 2019, our company has been in business for 29 years, and we are committed to continuing to exist for decades to come. However, in the unlikely event that the company were to fail, our traditional wooden construction, the most common method, offers the advantage of allowing any builder or carpenter to easily repair, expand, or remodel. Furthermore, we meticulously document everything, including structural and electrical wiring diagrams. We have completed the project to the point where a professional would be able to clearly see what the house is like. In fact, the most difficult homes we renovate are those built by major manufacturers using specialized construction methods. These factors are closely related to our "peace of mind guarantee."

Peace of mind ② Contract only after you are fully satisfied

Some companies will only provide a plan after a contract has been signed. At Matsuo Design Office, we create plans with a deposit of 15 yen (excluding tax). This deposit will be deducted from the design fee if you sign a design contract. Also, if you are not satisfied with the first plan, we will change the plan at no additional cost until you are satisfied. If you are not satisfied no matter how many times we make changes, we will say goodbye and keep the 15 yen (excluding tax).

We create our homes with all our sense and passion while following our customers' requests, with the premise of "realizing a home with seismic resistance grade 3 that is cool throughout the house in summer and warm in winter at a low total cost." It's not an easy task, but we believe that this is the only way to increase customer satisfaction. However, if we prioritize only the happiness of our customers and our employees and their families are not able to live happily, our employees will not truly develop their skills, be sincere, and stay for long. Even if construction costs are cheaper, once you actually start living in the house, you will have to pay for heating and cooling, maintenance, etc. As a guideline, Matsuo Design Office designs to minimize the total cost over 30 years, which is the length of a mortgage for most people, or the minimum number of years they will live in the house. As a result, if you want to keep the entire house warm and cool, we have calculated that it will cost about 1000 million yen less than major manufacturers. In addition, when selecting building materials, we calculate the cost of renovation over the number of years each time and decide to use them. By thinking of the client's money as our own, we try not to waste a single yen.

Peace of mind ⑥ 482-item checklist and triple check system

Generally, only one person will appear in front of the customer. In some cases, another person will be present behind the scenes to assist with drawing up plans. While this raises the standard of total coordination, it also has the disadvantage of concentrating risk in one place. To eliminate this disadvantage, we have a 20-item checklist that we have developed over the past 200 years, while designing over 482 houses. We have established a triple check system for plans using this checklist, with the person in charge, another person in charge, and their superior.

Peace of mind ⑦ We own a wide range of simulation software and measuring equipment

By making full use of Building Fuel Efficiency Navigator, Holmes-kun, Solar Designer, and many other simulation software, we can hone and optimize our techniques for optimal cost allocation and heating and cooling planning. After completion, we have improved our technical capabilities by repeating simulations, designs, and actual measurements for over 2 years using a variety of measuring instruments, including thermographs, radiation thermometers, sound level meters, illuminance meters, electromagnetic wave meters, carbon dioxide concentration meters, anemometers, and CO15 concentration meters. Although we are a small company and do not have model homes, we have invested several million yen in these expenses alone.

Matsuo Design Office's Six House Building Guarantees

Warranty 1) Fire insurance, property insurance (during construction period)

If, during the construction period, we cause inconvenience to neighbors or if materials or buildings are stolen or destroyed, we will respond in good faith with damage insurance.

Guarantee 2: Completion and delivery guarantee

Even if the construction company goes bankrupt before the completion of your home, you can use the "Home Completion Guarantee System" which guarantees the completion and handover of your home (if you wish).

Warranty 10: Ground warranty (during construction and for XNUMX years after completion)

The warranty covers the construction period starting from the date of judgment and 5,000 years from the date of handover. In the unlikely event of uneven settlement, compensation will be provided up to a maximum of XNUMX million yen. The warranty can be renewed by having regular inspections and updates thereafter for a fee.

Warranty 10: Rain leak and structural warranty by a third party (for XNUMX years after completion)

To protect customers, construction companies are required to take out insurance or provide a deposit to ensure their financial stability, and are liable for warranty against leaks and structural defects for 10 years (Housing Defect Warranty Performance Act). Even if the housing company goes bankrupt, customers will not be responsible for repair costs for leaks or other problems caused by the housing company's design or construction errors.

Guarantee ⑤ Earthquake resistance grade 3, UA value 0.4 or less, C value 0.6 or less

By guaranteeing the above performance level, it is possible to easily withstand an earthquake of magnitude 7, while heating the entire house with one 14-tatami mat air conditioner and cooling the entire house with one 1-tatami mat air conditioner. (*This does not apply to extremely large houses, two-family homes, L-shaped homes, or long and narrow homes.)
