Analyzing the four major air conditioners and how to choose an efficient product ①

This is a follow-up to the previous article "Is the number of tatami mats enough? Mistakes in choosing an air conditioner". In the previous article, I wrote that in most newly built detached houses and condominiums these days, air conditioners with excessive capacity are being selected. This time, I would like to take it a step further and see how much the heating capacity actually differs when the number of tatami mats is indicated.

First, here is an example of the display shown in the catalog of the air conditioner we introduced last month. In the case of this model, it says "Capacity (kW)" and "(0.7-5.4)", so we can see that the maximum heating capacity is 5400W.
This means that at full power, it can produce almost the same heating capacity as the same model with a rated heating capacity of 5600 W. Although the efficiency drops slightly at full power, it can cover up to 18 tatami mats even in old wooden houses with poor insulation, so it has an incredible heating capacity.
