109 million architects, 12 architect offices
I received the newsletter which listed the number of registrations for fiscal year 22, so I took a look at it.
According to this, there are 34 first-class architects, 73 second-class architects, and a few wooden building architects nationwide.
In total, there are 109 million architects.
In response, the architectural firm
There are 8.5 first-class architectural firms and 3.3 second-class architectural firms, totaling approximately 11.8 firms.
By the way, of the 8.5 first-class architectural firms, 3.5 are individual firms and 5 are corporations.
When I see this, I realize what I always say: "The most common design office is a one-person office, followed by two-person offices, and then
I felt that the idea that there were three of us was confirmed. This continued until the end, even in the largest independent design office.
Nikken Sekkei has about 1400 employees. After all, design offices are not a business that can grow into large companies.
what do you want.
For reference, there are approximately 30 doctors who have registered their medical licenses.
There are approximately 3 lawyers in Japan.
Looking at it this way, the number of doctors and first-class architects is roughly the same.
It turns out that there are only 1/10 of those lawyers.
Furthermore, while we all rely on doctors all the time, architects
Most people will need to rely on them once or twice in their lifetime. If you add in a second-class architect,
There are three times as many people as there are doctors, so the construction industry has a surplus of workers, and doctors
It's easy to imagine that this is not enough.
As for lawyers, the ratio is 1/10, but I am a regular person who has never had to deal with a lawyer in the first place.
I think that there is only one person out of every few who has had such experiences.
This number is also acceptable.
I meet a lot of different people in my job, but I have more opportunities to meet lawyers than doctors.
I think the opportunities are overwhelmingly fewer. I guess this is in line with the statistics.
From the same perspective, it seems that there are about 6000 pilots working for domestic airlines.
In Japan, there is only one in every 2 people who have a pilot.
None of them agreed. This is also a very reasonable result.
