I arrived in Sendai last night, went to the venue in the morning, and gave a lecture for about an hour from noon. I didn't know this until I arrived, but the number of visitors today was a whopping 600 people!
I had imagined it would be around 200 people without any basis, so I was shocked when I heard the number. Until now, the highest number ever was 400 people twice. When it gets to this number, to be honest, even if it's 200 people off, it's hard to tell the difference.
In fact, I have been invited to give a lecture in November with an audience of 800 people. Therefore, today's record is a provisional record for about six months. However, I am truly grateful to be able to speak in front of so many people.
I am currently on the Shinkansen to Morioka, where I will be giving a talk at the APW Forum tomorrow. I have heard that there will be about 300 people. I will do my best tomorrow as well.
