●Tatsuno City K Residence●

The venue for this open house is a single-story wooden house with a courtyard and an earthen floor.

When it comes to single-story houses, the recesses of the building tend to be dark, but this house does not feel that way at all.Bright space throughout the homeHas become.
What made it possible to realize this space was the shape of the building.
Tiered roof and courtyard space.
The staggered roof walls and the courtyard have been designed to effectively capture sunlight, ensuring that the entire building is well-lit.

Once inside, you can go directly to the living room from the entrance.
The flow of traffic is planned to lead through the dirt floor to the kitchen.
The dirt floor space is used as a bicycle room, and the walls are finished so that road bikes and other items can be hung freely.

The living/dining/kitchen area has a sloped roof and a raised Japanese-style room.
The finished product is an impressive building, with plenty of painted walls, tiles, and solid wood ceilings.

The interior space of the single-story house, which is approximately 132m2, is sufficient to run on solar heat during the day and just one air conditioner at night.
